How to arrive by train

Arriving by train
Arriving by train is straightforward and affordable. Right at the airport you’ll find the local commuter rail station (called Cercanías here). From there it’s €3.70 per person and about 20 minutes — 9 stops to the Carvajal halt (line C1, direction Fuengirola). From the station you can reach the apartment in around 10–15 minutes on foot, entirely step-free if you wish. It will be a little effort, though, as you need to cover about 40 metres of elevation. By Spanish standards the path is easy to walk. Alternatively you can cover the last stretch comfortably by taxi, or with your own or a rented car — the underground garage is available to you.
